What’s happening?

  • The upcoming Government change will commence from July 2, 2018
  • The Australian Government is investing an additional $2.5 billion into early education and care over the next 4 years
  • This will support the 1.2 million families who use approved early education and care
  • The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) which will replace the Child Care Benefit (CCB) and Child Care Rebate (CCR) with a single, means-tested subsidy
  • This will remove the current cap and provide assistance to more families in balancing work and early education and care

The New Childcare Subsidy (CCS) will:

  • Be simpler than the current multi-payment system
  • Reduce out of pocket expenses for most families
  • Be more targeted, providing further assistance to low and middle-income families

How much Childcare Subsidy (CCS) will I be entitled to?

This will depend on three factors:

  • How much ‘work-related’ activity (full time, part time and study) you and your partner undertake each fortnight. The entitlement is based on the lesser activity figure for a member of a couple
  • Your total combined family income
  • The amount of early education childcare undertaken

For your convenience please use the button below to estimate your entitlements. This will allow you to make an informed decision about your individual family circumstances and if your family can enjoy even more benefits of being in early education and care.

The new child care subsidy will roll into effect on 2 July and it will bring with it a range of benefits for our families. Remember, your current subsidy plan won’t roll over, so complete it now to avoid missing out!

Crèche and Play Group

Crèche and Play Group are run by a qualified coordinator who oversees the day to day running of the services. There are also volunteers including one with a diploma in children services who assist the coordinator in successfully running the service.

High quality service and care

We believe that children are valuable members of society, we respect and acknowledge each child as an individual learner and value their uniqueness regardless of their age, race, religion or cultural background. We believe that childcare is an exciting experience for children providing friends, fun, freedom, control, creativity and development, while providing them with the opportunity to develop and explore at their own pace. We are committed to provide high quality service and care for all children and their families using our centre.

In partnership with Novita Children Services

We also run Play Group in partnership with Novita Children Services  that offers play-based learning for children aged 0-5 years. Not only does play group benefit the children in all areas of their development, it also helps families connect with other families and develop strong positive relationships.  Play group sessions are run by a qualified child care worker, volunteers and a play group leader employed by Novita.
