Pathways to Employment & ICT for Job Seekers
Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9am to 3pm
This FREE TAFE SA accredited training program requires students to research and identify suitable employment pathways and gain basic computer skills for job seeking and workplace environments. Students will also use the internet to apply for employment. Course includes:
* Identify and plan Employment Pathways
* Computer Basics in the workplace
* Internet researching (prospective employment opportunities)
* Applying for work online using company and job search websites
* Basic Keyboard skills
Throughout this training students will be filling out employment applications for a variety of positions and investigating employment options with personalised visits from support organisations. Students will be enrolled in 4 units, FSKLRG07- use basic strategies for career planning, FSKLRG03- use basic strategies to identify job opportunities, FSKDIG01- use digital technology for basic workplace tasks, FSKLRG08- use simple strategies for work related learning.

The Gaining Your L’s program is a two and half day course leading to obtaining learner’s permit in a supported environment. The course is delivered by qualified trainers and examiner and has a very good success rate of 98% since 2004.

Fast & Fresh Meal Kits
Fast & Fresh Meal Kits have been developed by the Bagster Road Community Centre with the support of OPAL, to provide ready-to-cook meal kits to feed a family of up to four people, all for $10.
The new Meal Kits contain everything needed to prepare a fresh and tasty meal at home. A simple guide is included with each kit making it suitable for people of any age.
Meal kits are available Monday to Friday
Order (phone or in-person) between 9 am to 1.30 pm
Pick up from 9 am to 4 pm.
